Grade Level Specific Lab Ideas
The teachers will have a reproducible lab book that is correlated
to the state standards they are expected to teach. These are complete labs
with teacher prep pages, lab instructions, and student assessment all
provided.
Reliable, Classroom Tested Materials
You will receive a kit full of goodies to use at the workshop and then
take with you at days end. The rocks are big, the chemicals react, and

Hands-On Training
We will present 40-45 labs/demos during the workshop. You will see or do virtually every activity you would teach during the course of a year.
Suggested Lab Presentation Timeline
We suggest a specific, lab by lab, schedule so teachers know exactly what they are going to teach every week all year long. Entire curriculum for 4th through 5th and 6th through 8th grades are covered, simply follow the books.
Guidelines & Tips for Conducting Labs in Class
We will demonstrate how to set up, run, and manage a classroom lab. Including: How to prepare and organize your classroom, work assignments for parents and kids to help the teacher with the program, a lab procedure to help develop a ?culture of science? in the classroom, and a lab safety overview.
